Moves much more air than smaller fans, with minimal noise
Fan starts spinning at around 5.7V. At 12V it draws 0.3A. When tested in open-air at 24V, this 220CFM fan produces a good deal more air flow than the '285CFM' 120mm TKFAN (MPJA pn. 37126). Fan is not as loud as other same-sized fans I tested: It is noticably quieter than the Delta EFB1512 280CFM 12V fan which draws 1.4A, and a lot quieter than 290CFM Orion OD172SAP-12HHB and 325CFM Qualtek FDD1-17251CBHW32 fans. This fan is not well-balanced, so it will transmit low-frequency vibrations to whatever it is mounted to. I recommend using a rubber or silicone interface when mounting it. Note that fans in this range have sharp plastic blades and heavy motors, meaning they can cause severe injury to fingers. I recommend getting finger guards, at least for the intake side (As of Nov 2023, MPJA does not offer the larger 172mm finger guards which fit this fan). Unusually, the mouting holes on this fan are threaded. They take M5 screws, while 10-32 screws also work with a slightly looser fit.
